Bankers to the War on Freedom

Drugs money worth billions of dollars kept the financial system afloat at the height of the global crisis, the United Nations' drugs and crime tsar has told the Observer. [More]
And we use it further to increase the advance and grip of our tentacles under the guise of "law enforcement."

"Law and order" gun rights advocates--stop being stupid. It's not really a war on drugs, it's a war on freedom. How can you not get that?

Letting government treat it like a war enables tyranny and endangers liberty.

I took one basic economics couse in college. One. Yet even I know that it is government manipulation of an economic system that destroys it. The laws of supply and demand always apply. Decrease the supply, increase the demand and therefore the PRICE. A higher price per unit justifies increased risk in providing it. If drugs and drug money are a bigger actor SINCE the worldwide War on Drugs was declare, that would mean...
Consider that more opium flows out of Afghanistan now, with our troops at war there, than ever has before.
People are not just going to stop using drugs. For many, it is the only vacation they can afford from bleak, hopeless lives. The only way they can feel as good, for a time, as the Elites.
Which came first, the destruction of opportunities every American is supposed to have as a birthright, or the War on Poverty which perpetuates poverty as a government-sanctioned family business? The platforms of the Communist Party again. Last count, we had in place eight out of ten.

in short, if you accept that prohibition prevents "drug crime," then feel free to turn in your guns to help the VPC stop "gun crime."

The existence of, and movement of, billions in drug profits has to be the most taboo topic in our society today... everything else goes, but THAT one. Tell me HOW do BILLIONS move without government involvement/complicity?
