We're the Only Ones Striking with Force Enough

Metro Gang Strike Force members committed crimes by taking home property that had been seized during their police operations...The property included flat- and large-screen TVs, laptops and other computer equipment, electronics and recreational items such as water scooters. [More]
No doubt just a few bad apples. I mean, only a third of them were "implicated."

Do the folks prosecuting these guys have any idea how long it will take to train replacement "Only Ones" to become this accomplished at being lying, thieving, thugs?

The Mercenary

Part of my job as Founder is to extend invitations for people to speak at these events. Recently, I invited a famous Second Amendment activist. I asked him to spend five minutes on stage. He said he would be very happy and honored to attend the Second Amendment March ... but only if we paid him $40,000. [More]
Not that I consider myself to be in the exalted rank of important bigshot 2A luminaries, but I feel like I'm pushing things asking people to share GRE links...

I've got nothing against people making a living. It's why I encourage you to buy books from guys like Matthew Bracken and David E. Young, or purchase videos from JPFO...

But $40K, two first-class tickets, luxury hotel accommodations...I guess this cat figures his pearls of wisdom and ability to inspire us, the little people, are enough of a contribution.

I'm really curious as to who it is. I have a suspicion, based on a certain NRA director who has been reported as charging that precise amount to attend board meetings, but it would be unfair to consider that conclusive without facts. I'm going to email Grand Rapids GRE Skip Coryell and if he reveals it later, I'll be able to tell you if I was right.

I wonder how much Patrick Henry charged for his "Give Me Liberty" speech...?

We're the Only Ones Clubbing Around Enough

A suspended Shafter police officer is facing felony assault charges after videotaping himself clubbing a prone suspect who didn't resist, officers said Wednesday. [More]
And then he falsified the police report? Why that's unheard of!

Y'know, when I see our fine "Only Ones" getting in trouble over little things like this, it makes me nostalgic for the good old days of street justice.

We're the Only Ones "Is This Some Kind of Bust?" Enough

An embarrassed Sheriff Gary Painter fired one Midland County deputy and suspended three others without pay after a scantily dressed waitress holding a rifle posed for photographs on the hood of a patrol vehicle. [More]
Now hold the damn phone here a second--the "Only Ones" magical "patrol rifle" juju is so powerful that one given to a ("Twin Peaks"!) pseudo-Hooters gal by DUI-eligible boobs with badges is a mere "rifle", but if you or I have one while we're stone cold sober it would instantly become a "semiautomatic mass killing machine"...?

We're the Only Ones Re-Employed Enough

West Palm Beach police officer who beat handcuffed suspect gets job back...

In June, Schwartz and Graham were arrested on misconduct charges after an investigation by state and federal authorities found they falsified police reports after the May 2008 beating. [More]

Hey, when you have this level of on-the-job experience, the "Only Ones" can't afford to lose you, especially when you consider how long it takes to train a rookie into becoming such an accomplished lying thug.

Thank goodness for the police unions who make sure those "few bad apples" stay in the barrel! Now that's diversity!

Bonnie Erbe Exemplifies Media Elites' Hatred for Gun Owners

Citizens are children, you see. And children need guardians.

The adults, that is, the government, must keep grown-up things away from them.

This Day in History: August 21

The Conduct of Genl Howe is extremely embarrassing. He left the Capes of Delaware the 31st Ulto. and having never been heard of since the 7th Inst. off Sinapuxent. It was generally beleived here, that he had passed the Capes of Virginia, and that Charles Town in South Carolina was the object of his expedition. We were so fully persuaded of this, and convinced of the impracticability of affording it succour in time from this Army, that a Resolution was come into this Morning, to move to morrow towards Hudson's River, if approved by Congress, to avail ourselves of any advantages, circumstances might point out. The destination of the Fleet, if for Chesapeak Bay, must soon be known, and the Army will remain here, till further intelligence is obtained on the Subject. At present, I think it not unlikely, that their appearance off the Capes is to amuse and that their designs may yet be against Charles Town. [More]
