Don't Resist...

...and just give them what they want.

What if what they want is your life...?

Evil is.

And everyone--everyone--who makes it easier for monsters to devour humans is guilty of aiding and abetting it--whether they realize it, or want to admit it, or not.

At least one comment was removed. I wonder if it's because it called the Massachusetts gov't on the carpet for not allowing people to carry guns.

62 comments and they discussed the death penalty, the sex of the offender, the type of car, but nobody put forward the idea of self-defense. The wonder isn't that this poor man was killed, the wonder is that not all of the residents of Mass. have been killed and looted, with that mentality, predators should be flocking to Mass to take and kill whom and what they want.

One thing from the article, the policeman who spoke of dangerous jobs listed police, firefighters, etc. but disclaimed the deceased's job as being one of those "dangerous" jobs. The facts prove he is lying. Not just wrong, but lying, because it is his duty to know what the stats say and they say that convenience store clerking is several orders of magnitude more dangerous than that of cop.

Nowhere in the article or the comments does it say whether or not the gunner followed procedure! If so, the entire argument is moot because no wrongdoing occurred. Seriously, how many times have we seen people winding up exactly the same way after faithfully following orders from uniformed officers, and they get shot anyway. Has there ever been any sort of outcry like this under those circumstances?

Cops want respect and admiration. OK, if you want that, then YOU ADVOCATE for citizen armament! Advocate for the basic human right of self preservation! Advocate for mere mortals to possess the same weaponry that tools of the government (yes that is you) possess. Advocate for wide spread proficiency training with ALL common weapons. You want my respect and admiration? Advocate for that store clerk to be ARMED! Advocate loudly!

The silence is deafening...once again.

"convenience store, outraged authorities said today."

It's comforting to know that the "authorities" will be "outraged" upon the death of an innocent. I'm sure the dearly departed's family will be extremely consolate to that fact.
