I Wish They'd Settle This

'Negro' Race Choice On Census Form Sparks Outrage [More]
I'm afraid to send contributions here or here because I don't want to offend anyone...

Perhaps the most helpful thing I could do would be to make a donation to the people responsible for this...

The way I used to get past all this rubbish in the Army, was to address the individual by name or rank, in such a sound, that it sounded like a curseword. I refer to "them" as "you" now, and I say it the same way. Talking in the softest possible way works too, in a manner that sounds overly solicitious, and dripping with concern. Sometimes they leave skidmarks. And by the way, when people I don't know call asking for money on the phone, I let them give their whole spiel, then I ask them what color underwear they're wearing. Don't get many of those calls anymore.

What's offensive about the word?

Here, try this:

Negroes with Guns

I've read it; have you?

Wellll, David, that's not the word the rappers use, perhaps that's why they are outraged? Maybe they feel they have lost all the color the colloquialism accepted in 'da hood' bestows. Or maybe it's simply a black-hearted thing that requires certain people to solicit advantage by use of feigned outrage. Color me "don't give a shit".

Can I say "color"? Oh, that's right, I don't give a shit about phony sonsofbitches.

Negro, negro, negro, negro, negro, negro.

Now, everybody pray for strokes amongst the outraged.

Or could this just be evidence of already extant disease, ohhh, I don't know, maybe something like sickle cell stupidity.

Oddly the word verification is "whativ", which caused me to wonder "whativ they acted like adults?"

Individuals of any faith, color, or ethnic background who wake up every morning determined to be offended ... will be.
