In the 1840s, a lot of Irish moved here, or starved. A lot of the ones who moved here brought the same socialist crap with them, that they supposedly fled at the hands of the dam-ned British. Being of that race of cretins and drunkards, I can only hang my head in shame at this latest. If only they actually BELIEVED in the freedom they supposedly craved.
Stereotypes are a dangerous thing. :) The Scots are also often called "a race of cretins and drunkards." Some of us take exception to that sort of label.
Those who understand freedom and want it will always seek it, one way or another... regardless of where they are or where they came from.
Those who do not seek it will never find it.
Thank goodness no one ever stereotypes us Transylvanians...:)
