We're the Only Ones Reforming Health Care Enough

"The investigation found that jail medical personnel had falsified a medication log to show that the detainee, a Salvadoran named Nery Romero, had been given Motrin. The fake entry was easy to detect: When the drug was supposedly administered, Mr. Romero was already dead," it says. [More]
And just think--when our A-rated pal gets his way, all us prisoners will receive the same high quality "Only Ones" care.

Wanna hear a good one? I'm a disabled vet, supposedly, I get priority care at a VA hospital. Know what? I can't even get in the place, and there ain't no damned doctors in there anyway.

Indeed, David. And not only that..

As nurses, we were taught that the ONLY person who could define a patient's pain was the patient themselves. Of course, this has never really been reflected in practice, since everyone in "authority" is terrified that someone, somewhere just might actually feel GOOD.

This will only get worse until we stop putting up with it. And, one of the best ways to do that is to find alternatives to the government controlled "medicine" just as fast as possible. It's out there.

Motrin for a broken leg? Just about useless. Oooh, let's not let him get comfortable, even if we let him live.
The poor schmucks in prison are pretty much out of luck until we can spring the non-violent.
