The Framingham Nightstalkers

A Framingham man spent his birthday in jail Saturday night after police found three guns, including a high-powered assault rifle, illegally stored in his home. [More]
There's a reputed Transylvanian legend I've heard from Hollywood (but not from my parents or grandparents, who never gave such nonsense any thought) that a vampire cannot cross your threshold unless you invite him in.

It's origin may be questionable, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't heed the principle.

Nightstalkers do walk among us. And they're constantly trying to get in, bend us to their will and thrive off our lives.

Their victim hardly sounds as bright as his laser pointer, but even dimmer are most of the comments from the "serves him right" village peasants, who apparently believe the old and ignorant superstition that only castle-dwellers and their minions should have fangs.

Required reading/watching for every American gun owner:

The man in question should never have let the cops into his home. Period.

That said, Illinois law is corrupt and morally bankrupt.

An idiotic thing about this article, as I have found elsewhere, you have to go to the home page, and GUESS what state this is happening in. When they come to the door asking stupid questions, do like I do. I tell them to get a warrant, and get a lawyer while they're at it.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the article page, you'll see:

Carl, yo. But it not obvious, and I don't spend a lot of time looking for footnotes.

It's obvious that folks living in that area have sucked down every last drop of kool-aid given to them by the anti-gun, anti-America crowd.

Those who believe in the 'need a license' for every damn thing in your life have no concept of liberty and freedom.

I believe that everyone who has died to defend the Constitution have already secured any license that I will ever need concerning firearms.

I was under the delusion that the Massachusetts Firearms ID card was for possession of long arms OUTSIDE the home, while the License to Carry was necessary for possession of pistols and revolvers OUTSIDE the home, where they must be carried concealed.
There is no licensing or permit requirements for possession of a laser device.

I am totally amazed at the level of fear and ignorance by the residents of Mass. They seem like superstitious tribesmen from some heretofore unexplored wilderness.

I wonder also, what they put in the water that removes testicles.

And yet look at all the otherwise reasonable people who will cooperate with the coming census.

Just where in the He** is Framingham anyway? I want to make sure I never get even close to that nest of bigoted anti-gunners.

Next question: How does one go about illegally stowing unloaded firearms when he apparently is the only person in the house? Is he supposed to secret them away so that he won't be able to find one if he needs it?

Of course, being a senile old bastard of 66, he probably misplaced all his ammunition and couldn't have used any one of the guns if he had wanted to.

Yes, the comments are indicative that the Puritan Ethic is alive and well in Framingham, Massachusetts. The Puritan Ethic is, "we know what's good for you and we'll jail or kill you to give it to you".

They're disgusting.

I did leave them with a small lesson about rights, but I'm afraid that the coming economic collapse will likely be the necessary lesson for them.
