GRE Round Up for Mar. 15

There's some good stuff being turned out. I hope you're availing yourself of it, and importantly, sharing these links via emails, on blogs and forums, with your local newspaper editor, etc.

A common complaint is media bias and absence of representation for "our side."

These people work hard to change that and ask for nothing from those of us their labors serve other than to help spread the word. I hope no one thinks that's too much to ask.

Here are their latest offerings:

Howard Nemerov/Austin:
Self-Defense, California style

Daniel White/Cleveland:

Another Toledo robber shot, this time killed

Liston Matthews/Knoxville:
Sara Palin to testify in Knoxville

John Longenecker/Los Angeles:
Safer Streets 2010: 'Hollow victory' for gun owners in McDonald, Part II.

Kurt Hofmann/St. Louis:
18 should be old enough to decide to be armed--even in Illinois

Go. Read. And please share the links.
You're doing that, right?

At what age does a U.S. citizen enjoy the full protection of the Constitution? If a 12 year old, or younger is about to be murdered does that 12 year old have the right to self defense and if so does the Constitution run?
I already know the answer, I was just wondering what the commies think. And that's about all we've got left, isn't it, commies everywhere.

Mountain Rifleman, welcome to the WarOnGuns. As a newcomer, FYI, I keep comments on topic here and don't let them get derailed on different subjects. This post is about the latest offerings from the Gun Rights Examiner. We're going to have to talk about your subject the next time I post something related.

Thank you, Mr. Codrea, for your kindness. I responded to the story that an 18 year old ought to be old enough to carry a firearm. I thought the topic included the links you posted.
The Constitution doesn't apply to any citizen these days since the commies shredded the Constitution. I guess one shouldn't worry about a 12 year old in commie country.
I'll try to keep on topic, but I ride a slow horse.
I have noticed in your picture that you carry a real rifle.

You know what? You're right and I'm wrong on this. My bad and my apologies for being thick.

Any child has an absolute right to defend his life, independent of the Constitution or whether it is recognized by tyrants or not. My sons were trained before 12, and I've written before about the Merced pitchfork murders.

Still, link-specific comments would do a lot more good on the respective sites--I try to drive traffic there and get the discussion going/attract reader interest--and to reward these writers for their hard work with the meager stipend they get through page views.
