Tea Partiers must examine would-be leaders closely

I'm seeing some Republicans who have been part of the establishment, who never committed a restoring act in their tenure and who have actually been part of the problem, working the crowds, and making sure their names are associated with leadership—whether they've actually made a career of leading in a principles-first way or not. I've witnessed speeches that were really collections of platitudes, the speaker pandering to the passions of the crowd with the right buzz words, but never really saying much that couldn't be equivocated into something entirely different by a skillful weasel-worder applying the right spin.
