We're the Only Ones Editing Wedding Videos Enough

The officer who oversees the video surveillance system at the University of Maryland is married to one of cops in video. [More]
We talked about this before but I just don't have time to hunt down the link.

Oh well, nothing to see here now. Literally, apparently...

A day not too far off I envision an armed cadre of people not willing to suffer this abuse nor to allow it for others to confront these criminal gangs we call police departments and kill the bunch of them where they assault another.

I wish it were not going to be necessary, but we all know it will be. And it will necessarily spread throughout the society because just as will happen in this case, nothing of any consequence will befall the perpetrators of this crime nor their criminal compatriots who aid in covering it up or in providing special dispensation. But great effort by them will be made to terrorize the citizenry, nationwide, into abandoning self defense and just accepting any abuse these criminals offer. Hence the spread of violence and perhaps civil war because every chapter of this criminal gang will involve itself in the terrorizing of the citizenry as a preemptive measure, much as they do no, only moreso.

At some point that action will act as a goad and not a deterrent. Then we will be at war.

I have noticed a consistent avoidance of comments when I mention this despicable and unavoidable truth.

As I have come to expect over a lifetime, I stand alone. So be it.

But please, all you avoiders, don't pretend to balls.

It is amazing to me that not a day goes by that David has at least one story of "only ones" misdeeds and sometimes several, and he isn't necessarily looking for them either. They just find themselves in his email inbox.

Eventually the bear will find himself in a corner and I believe some of what straightarrow mentioned will begin to occur. Why do I believe this? Two things.

1. The term "law enforcement officer" itself says alot about how police officers are thought of, and how they think of themselves, and it creates a perilous paradigm where, in the mind of many citizen, just about any action taken by the police is acceptable. It also places in the mind of the law enforcement officer a proactive attitude about his/her work. A traffic stop as a result of a roll past a stop sign suddenly can escalate into a questionable shooting of the "suspect" due to some question about his noncompliance with the officer's "orders" which the suspect simply questioned. A scenario like that would never happen if the law enforcement officer was instead a "peace officer." The "peace officer" would probably have never made the traffic stop in the first place if the roll past the stop sign did not involve a near miss or other safety issue.

2. The TV show COPS and any other similar entertainment media about police serve as a propaganda device to "prepare" us for abuses by the police. Think about it. What'cha gonna do when they come for you?
