Ron Paul 2012

Ron Paul is the only one who makes sense... as a candidate, and as a statesman. Any other choice simply rubber-stamps the corrupt system.
Anderson Cooper broke the shocking news last week that there's a THIRD Party being formed! Now, even the big three networks mention (once per election)the Libertarian and the Constitution parties SOMETIME, and the big-L libertarians are the next largest party behind the Ds and Rs. But if you don't know there ARE other options... moooo..
Palin a "rogue"? Sure. She's as far out of the Republican mainstream as ...Michael Steele, Republican Party Chairman.

Sad, that Palin joined ranks with McCain, Steele, Romney.

Irrelevant Dem-Lites.
Or is that Dim-Lites?

Boy, Palin sure turned into a party hack/loser. I'd've voted for her in a heartbeat until she came out for McLame, and backing Nitwit Romney just killed any support that might've been left.

Not even Ron Paul has the stones to do what needs to be done to pull this country back from the brink, because the vast majority of the people of this country don't have the stones to do what has to be done.

What has to be done?

Eliminate Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and all welfare. Cut veteran's benefits. Eliminate all retirement and health benefits for Congress. Eliminate farm subsidies, foreign aid, and severely cut the Defense budget. Cut every federal agency budget in half. Eliminate the Dept of Education, Energy, Health & Human Services, and 3/4 of all other Fed departments.

I'm a retired veteran, just a few years away from Soc Sec & Medicare, and if all of that was done I'd be in serious financial straits, but I can read and I can count. The numbers are atrocious, the consequences are horrific, and if the Fed doesn't do all that was outlined above, this country will go tits up, and the results will be apocalyptic, wrath of God stuff, cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria.

I'm just sayin'.

Gaviota, I agree. I'm a (much younger) vet. I'm not 100% this country will make it to 2012 if our Friends In High Places think a radical like Ron Paul might win. Suddenly we must experience another manufactured economic depression, starting with the value of our dollar hyper-inflating into nothing.

I think Ron Paul might be a bit like Thomas Jefferson - denouncing singular executive power, until he needs it himself - hopefully his supporters won't crucify him for it.
