We're the Only Ones Torturing Enough

A one-time Chicago police commander who officials say oversaw the torture of more than 100 black men goes on trial Monday.

The first allegations date back 40 years, but former Chicago police Cmdr. Jon Burge has avoided prosecution until now.

Prosecutors say detectives under his command on the city's South Side tortured suspects until they confessed to crimes they may or may not have committed. [More]
Everybody understands why Daley insists on he and his being the "Only Ones" who can stick a bayoneted rifle up your butt, right?

And the world views America as being populated by bloodthirsty gun-toting savages. Why? None of these people were killed for doing what they did, and they certainly earned a damned good killing. Even by the most pacifistic and civilized population.

The Italians have a wonderful word for what is becoming more and more necessary, VENDETTA.

I was unaware that there is a statute of limitations on homicide.

How many people went to the death chamber for a crime they didn't commit?

If a man was tortured into confessing and was subsequently executed aren't the people who coerced the confession responsible for his death?

Did not those thugs intentionally, knowingly, recklessly, or with criminal negligence cause the death of an individual?

The US government gladly turns old SS personnel over to Israel for prosecution and probable execution. Statute of limitations be damned!
