Black River Falls police Chief Don Gilberg said he disagrees with Fox's assessment and that his officers will continue to enforce state and local gun laws.YOU carry guns God-knows-where, Gilberg, you elitist. What makes you better than anyone else? That they're not Wisconsin "Only Ones"?
"We don't think it's a good public policy," Gilberg said. "It'll make our community less safe. We don't want people walking into the courthouse or city hall or god knows where (carrying firearms)."

Mr. Fox's email address is not hard to find. I write the baddies to tell them they can count on not seeing my tourist dollars in their jurisdiction; I'm going to thank this gentleman for treating his constituents like PEOPLE. Long may he wave, and may his tribe increase. I think I'll send his statement to the local commonwealth's attorneys, our equivalent of DAs. They could take a lesson or two from this fine American.
What would be the outcome if the police continue to arrest but the prosecutor refuses to prosecute, in effect stating to the court that the arrest was unlawful? Compounding this is the prosecutor's public declaration of his interpretation of the law.
After the municipalities and the officers as individuals have been successfully sued for unlawful arrest with sufficient monetary damages paid, then hopefully the civilian control of the paramilitary forces (aka the police) will order the paramilitary forces to alter their policies and will demand that the legislature revoke the unenforceable laws.
Friday: Chicago City Council has just thumbed its nose at the People and the Supreme Court, with what the Associated Press describes as the nation's toughest gun laws.
I'd decline to pay my taxes, if I lived there. No taxation without representation.
