The end of the Daley Dynasty can only be a good thing, BUT science talks about the law of conservation of events. For example, the moral question "If you could go back in time and assassinate Hitler early in his life, would you?" The LCE says if Hitler hadn't risen to power, another similar tyrant would have filled that vacuum. The people of Chicago will have the worst leader they are willing to tolerate. The pattern has been established.

I think Rahm Emanuel leaving the White House for a position of less power would be a good thing. Maybe the rest of the country will get lucky and we'll finally get someone who's stupid and evil as the White House Chief of Staff.
