An Attractive Nuisance

Interim Police Chief Ralph Godbee Jr. said every gun turned in will be destroyed and is one less gun that could potentially be stolen if there is a home invasion. [More]
Yeah, Ralph, that's what guns are for, to be stolen by home invaders.

That's what would happen with yours, right?

Oh, I forgot, you're a highly trained Detroit "Only One."

How nice you guys have the resources for this. It's not like there are any real problems there to address.

Plus, it gives Cleveland a comparative motto.

"In every country, there's a city that people make fun of. In my home country of Russia, we make fun of... Cleveland."

Detroit is the joke that speaks for itself.
Detroit's attitude is eerily close to that Discovery Channel terrorist Lee's. Every BABY could be considered one more potential criminal. I know, dont give them any ideas.

Guy turns in a revolver his dad gave him because he doesn't think it's registered. As we see from Westchester NY, even registered and safely locked away into uselessness is still a problem for our Overseers. CAN you even register a handgun in Detroit anymore? Some cities have put a freeze on that, making them contraband per se.

Wow, don't a warrant require "probable cause" and when does just lawful possession become 'probable cause' What happens when law enforcement no-knocks and an officer is killed? Or worse yet an innocent gun oner. Is a gun oner going to be charge with murder for illegal action of law enforcement? Looks like a cease and desist need to be issue, lawsuit filed, judges impeached, county attorney impeached, judges and attorneys disbarred. DC vs Heller clearly stated that the storage prevision was unconstitutional. These people are intentionally violating US citizens civil rights and need to be deal with harshly.

Hmmm... Come to think of it, lotsa "Only Ones" get ripped off, too, not to mention the ones who leave their
genital compensation devices (Thank you, Dr. Brothers!) in public restrooms. So how come they get to keep theirs, hunh?
