Ha-Ha Funny or Peculiar Funny?

Yet it’s only as the actor/director sits for an interview with the Star, talking about his new TIFF Gala premiere The Conspirator, that he suddenly realizes the irony of being both the pistol-packing Sundance Kid and an outspoken supporter of gun control.

“It’s funny — that’s the first time it’s ever come to my mind,” said
Redford, 74, smiling at the thought. [More]
Now there's a deep thinker--assuming we believe him.

But who am I to question the more enlightened? After all, when he talks about his new Lincoln assassination movie, he tells us it "is a story that very few, if any, know..."

"If any"?

Breaking news, Bob? There were co-conspirators who were arrested, tried and hanged? Aw, go on...

God, these smug, privileged dilettantes think highly of themselves, don't they? No wonder they see themselves as stewards of social justice and enlightenment for we, the little people.

Funny though, how Hollywood elites treat the help when it's their own interests on the line...

His Hypocrisy knows no bounds. Right up there with Traitor Jane.

"Brubaker" was on the other day. Isn't that the one where he kills the floor about six times with a shotgun when he's attacked, and miraculously survives because the other guy is shooting with his eyes closed too?
Looks and luck do not equal being an authority on anything except the entertainment industry.
Michael Douglas, UN spokesman and gun control advocate, has throat cancer. Aw. I wonder how many innocents his cheerleading has helped condemn to suffering and death.

Speaking of smug, privileged dilettantes, Michelle Obama asks the restaurant industry to give us less of what we go out to eat FOR:

Wants us to not gross out the TSA voyeurs as they scan us, I guess.
Restaurants are already suffering, what with the largest jobs crisis since the 1930s and people cutting back. The International Moneteary Fund sees an implosion coming.
Nice priorities, Michelle.

For a graphic reminder of where prettyboy's philosphy has led, Google "Waco Holocaust Electronic Museum."
There are about 80 autopsy photos of Mt. Carmel's men, women and children. The remains start being recognizable as human around image 76.
It all started over a suspected unregistered full-auto and the ATF's desire to get the taste of Ruby Ridge out of the public's mouth with a righteous bust, a quick in and out and perp walk.

About those restaurants...
Luby's Cafeteria, Killeen, Texas. George Hennard, madman and executioner. "No guns in bars," even if you're not drinking. They'll "put your face in the pavement."
And a family restaurant where you can have wine with dinner is "a bar."

Will Obama go Bloomberg and try to mandate low-fat? It would be in character.
What goes around sometimes comes around.
