It's Always Gunny in Philadelphia

On Monday, Sutton said, she was awakened by incessant pounding on her back door about 8 a.m. She looked out of the window and saw two men and a woman at her back door, peering in her window.

Scared, Sutton said she grabbed her gun and held it at her side as she answered the door. [More]
HAH! That's all the excuse we need!

Just like with these compliant saps! [UPDATE: Did you catch the quote from Lt. Fran Healey about officer safety coming before rights? ]

What? Go after these guys instead?

What are you, nuts? We want to go home at the end of our shift!

The right to confront your accuser; the right to be secure in your home, person and effects; the RKBA, and others you can think of... taken. One call does it all. Because, again, someone claims the right to "feel safe" even when they're being rude and obnoxious to you on your own property.
The Powers are just outdoing themselves lately.

It's obvious that Philly needs to become acquainted with Title 18, Part I, Chapter 13, paragraph 241, Conspiracy Against Rights which reads, If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; or
If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured—
They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.
Paragraph 242 may apply aw well.

Given the law as Pat H. described, it would be reasonable to expect that the DOJ immediately investigate this systemic deprivation of rights in Philadelphia.

Just don't hold your breath in the meantime.

Hopefully what will happen is that the ACLU files a suit in Federal court.
