We're the Only Ones Confident Enough

Marin County sheriff's deputies turned a Taser on Peter McFarland when he refused to go to the hospital and allegedly became belligerent. [More]
And, of course:
We are confident the actions of our deputies will be found to have been both within the law and department policy.
I guess if I were so inclined and officially protected, I'd be pretty confident, too.

Apparently the deputy had his Taser with mounted camera aimed at McFarland early on.
After the first jolts, he's just LYING there tensed up from the pain. That's "resisting"? Much like Oscar Grant.
Had that been my spouse, there WOULD have been a gunfight at this point, yessiree.
Don't call 911. Look up the none-mergency number for the rescue squad and call that. The adrenaline junkies often arrive late to generate chaos out of calm.
They taser diabetics they misinterpret as being drunk. They taser people who don't like being pushed around because Officer is having a crappy day. ____ing sadists.
