We're the Only Ones Whittling You Down to Size Enough

The name of the involved officer has not been released, but Seattle Police Chief John Diaz did comment on his performance.

"He's considered a very good officer. He has a good record," he said. [More]

An instructive piece for those who hate guns because their only purpose is "to kill people." What if the man were a carpenter or brickmason and had a hammer or a chisel? What if he were a cabinetmaker and had a table leg?
These are not reductio ad absurdam questions. Not when police chiefs and mayors have stated that anyone with a "weapon" should be shot on sight.
