Does Dan Lungren really deserve an NRA endorsement?

As if that wasn't enough, Lungren presided over actual gun confiscation. Here's a recap from NRAWinningTeam.com -- make sure you follow all the internal document links like this one to see how he supported waiting periods and the Brady Bill, was endorsed by HCI, supported a fundraiser for Jim Brady, supported magazine bans, supported "gun free school zones," opposed concealed carry...[More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column exposes what can only be deemed a demonstrable fraud. Guess who's perpetuating it?

I don't believe he has changed. He doesn't believe in the 2A with his heart. He is only doing what is expedient to get elected. His gun-grabbing past is his true nature.

How the NRA represented California semi-auto owners: The NRA stepped in to keep a SWAT gun confiscation team from KILLING Bill Doss after the CA attorney general's office LIED that his SKS Sporter would be legal when he moved into the state. Hand over the rifle and nobody gets hurt, they told him. Doss did everything right, tried to be a law-abiding citizen, just like the NRA says. They still came for him.
I've seen estimates that CA semi-auto turn-ins are at about the 2% level. Sounds like most owners had the good sense not to register them.
We have the benefit of the experience of every developed country -- and every U.S. state -- that has surrendered to authoritarianism before.

Hilarious. Like we are supposed to forget?

Say, did you know that "Young Guns" [sic] Eric Cantor voted for One-Gun-a-Month AND for closing the 'Gun Show Loophole' back in 1993? Sure, it was because "the public spoke" -- it actually gave Wilder credit.

Cantor has never apologized for supporting gun control.
