Why has Phoenix banned gun safety ads?

This is arbitrary tyranny.  It is nothing less than un-American, and Mariscal, who like all public officials took an oath of office attesting his fidelity to the Constitution, ought to be ashamed of himself. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column shows how even banning guns will not be enough.  The very idea must be eradicated from the public consciousness.

That similar tactics (when perpetrated with no personal costs) have historically resulted in eradicating more than the public's consciousness seems not to have been considered here. So consider it.

Phoenix is the No. 2 city in the world for kidnappings (down from No. 1 this time last year).
No fair even THINKING ABOUT fighting back, I guess.

Odd. Didn't happen in Kalifornistan but it happens in Arizona... The most recent state to pass constitutional carry.

The entire state is pretty much armed with some exception in scottsdale and tuscon where most of the antigunners in the state house and senate reside. I have seen these ads at the bus stops. You can carry on the buses openly. Drivers even tell me this. Consistently. The newer buses don't even have the gun in the circle with the slash on there prohibited item list on the buses or on their website and the drivers don't seem to care.

I have actually asked a Valley Metro superintendent and she said as long as you abide by the laws there not going to bother you.

So this is like a "what the hell happened" moment?
