Chicago database a tool to discourage gun ownership, not to fight crime

That, of course, is nonsense, a cover story for the gullible that masks true intent. This is part of Daley’s revenge for his court loss, an attempt to make things as difficult as he can “legally” get away with, and a way to set traps for gun owners in the bargain. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column looks at a systematic harassment campaign backed up by the threat of lethal force that includes the potential for state-sponsored terrorism.

You know, the Chicago way.

Also, hear some sharp words and pointed commentary.

"a database to let police officers and firefighters know how many firearms are registered in each home in the city."

I see an end-game scenario. They're really, really going to try to take them. If you have three registered guns and three registered guns aren't turned in, your child may not make it home from school one day. Your car could be booted or confiscated. Your utilities turned off. Your employer told to let you go. And that's just until they get enough crime-weary sheeple to support JBT home invasions on a mass scale.
There's no other reason to care how many guns one has. If you're going to shoot at a first responder, it only takes one. Not about safety.

I wonder how authentic the new Fox show, 'The Chicago Code' will be?
