We're the Only Ones Unidentified Enough

The city of Plano faces a lawsuit levied by the family of the man who was accidentally shot and killed by a Plano police sergeant in October...

The officer, who was a part of an undercover narcotics unit, has not been identified yet and is still on administrative leave as the police continue with an internal investigation stemming from the incident. [More]
What do you think the chances are you'd remain anonymous and on paid leave if you accidentally killed an "Only One"?

The switch on the SureFire X300 "can be operated with the TRIGGER FINGER."
Bad idea No. 1.
It's ambidextrous, and MIGHT be safe if you use the thumb of your weak hand to operate the switch while using a two-hand hold.
The switch almost projects into the inside of the trigger guard.
Bad idea Number 2.
Not being forthcoming about a police SERGEANT -- he's been found worthy of promotion -- who lights a man up instead of lighting him.
Having and being part of an undercover narcotics unit in the first place.

Look at the actuating switch on the back end of the light. It is the same as the TLR series. It is very easy to actuate with the support hand thumb (or the trigger finger, should you choose to keep your finger OFF the trigger while covering a target which poses no threat).

This shooting was the fault of the shooter, no one else.
