GRE Round Up for November 9

Here's the latest from my fellow GREs:

John Longenecker/Los Angeles:
Dave Workman/Seattle:
Kurt Hofmann/St. Louis:
Also check out these other Liberty-oriented Examiners:

Unwise Tim

We don’t need guns. [More]
Yes, you do.

That you think you don't just shows what a doomed, delusional fool you are.

Which is fine with me.

Mystery to Me

Follow along:

Missile launched off coast of LA.

Govt says they don't know what it is or who fired it.

If true, WTF? The incompetence at fulfilling their most basic of functions demands all in charge be fired.

If not true, that means they--plural--are liars.

If the speculation is right, that this was a warning shot to Asia to not spook The One, does that mean it's OK for us to fire our guns in the air when we feel threatened?

And if the government thinks the threat is real enough to do this, maybe the rest of us have a vested interest in knowing?

Nah, the object isn't to do anything but ensure survivability and continuation of government. That's why they have all those elaborate tax-funded facilities, and disparage the preparedness folks as paranoid survivalists.

And we ridicule "conspiracy theorists" who disbelieve the official government line about things why...?

UPDATES:

Trust Us

We are the last people to want more guns on the streets - but trust us, this is a good thing. [More]
Trust you?

Are you out of your minds?

I once had a used car salesman sporting slicked-back greasy black hair, a gold front tooth and an orange polyester leisure suit put his hand on my shoulder, smile broadly and say "Trust me."

I laughed out loud, thanked him and shook his hand, because I admired the irony of his style.

Then I wished him luck and left.

True story.

Runnin' Back to Saskatoon

The Applicant does not agree with the licensing provisions of The Firearms Act and related provisions of The Criminal Code of Canada (the "Code"). He does not believe that he, or any "law abiding citizen", should ave to hold a license or register his weapons. He has been peacefully, although at times not lawfully, protesting the licensing and registration requirements of the Firearms Act and related provisions for over a decade. [More]
Interesting case out of Canada...

It's inspirational to see some have the courage of their convictions and will not go gentle into that good night.  And it's depressing to know how most will remain oblivious, and of those who aren't, how so many will agree that culling the independent-minded is best for the herd.

I understand the judicial review should be occurring right about now (10:00 am Saskatoon time).

A Talent for Understatement

Yes it will. I wonder if Paul will take the bait. [Read]

If not, I'll wonder why.

We're the Only Ones Unprintable Enough

Silvia is accused of waving a loaded gun at two restaurant workers in Newport, R.I. early on Oct. 31. Newport police said he was too drunk after his arrest to fingerprint him immediately. [More]
The good news is "termination" is one of the options.

No, not the kind they'd execute on the spot against you and me...

Well, Reason Didn't Work. What Next?

Phoenix Refuses Appeal to Reason [More]
We talked about this outrage here.

Looks like the city has no interest in "allowing" even a tempered message.

I think they think they have the final say.

Armed Rally in Philly?

Restore the Constitution asks if anyone wants to go. [Read]

Maybe you can meet Sgt. Evers.  As long as you're not insolent and use good judgment, what could be the problem?

When Push Comes to Shove

Bill Whittle does a good job explaining things. [Watch]

You're Getting Warmer!

Why you may soon need a warmist’s permission to eat [More]
You can't make this stuff up. The control freaks are literally monstrous, evil, degenerates.

I'm not interested in refuting them or debating them.

If they try this here, I will be interested in hastening their arrival to the warmest place I can think of.

And They Call the Wind Shariah

Oklahoma's Ban on Shariah Law Blocked [More]
Of course it was. What do you expect, that "establishment of religion" hooey to discriminate against diversity?

Besides, the AG who sat on his hands was busy trying to amass more power, and the judge studied in Ghana.

Hey--I wonder if she knows Kwaku...?

Don't Dare Blame the "Victim"

Many accused Moynihan, who was white, of "blaming the victim:" of saying that black behavior, not racism, was the main cause of black problems. [More]
That is so unfair, to expect human beings to realize that sex can result in pregnancy.  What the hell is wrong with racists who believe that?

Next thing you know, the bigots will be telling us that self control is the answer.

And that guns aren't the cause of urban violence...

The Agenda

During his testy exchange, O'Donnell also revealed his agenda to "ban all guns in America."[More]
I guess those "slippery slope" Cassandras were wrong.  This hive insect advocates a sheer cliff.

Of course, he also envisioned Martin Sheen as president.

The greedy fools running NBC officially qualify as rope-selling capitalists.

And this fascist punk officially qualifies as a domestic enemy.

If he ever wants to personally demonstrate how he'd accomplish his agenda, though, I volunteer to be his test subject.

The Second Time Around

Police are looking for two suspects after a shoe and clothing store was robbed for the second time since June. [More]
The second time?  Word on the street must have the proprietors pegged as easy marks.

You know what they need?

One of those "No Guns" signs.

Is ATF's Cavanaugh a credible SPLC spokesman?

And it can't be said that Cavanaugh, known as "Waco Jim" in some circles for his participation in the Branch Davidian horror, is a disinterested party.  But read his own words, and decide for yourself how credible a spokesman you think he is, and whether or not you choose to accept what he tells us at face value. Today's Gun Rights Examiner column lets a man speak for himself.

If he doesn't speak for you, please share the link and help expose what those he represents must resort to.
