Descendants of Vikings.
I wonder if that would have deterred those Norse marauders, being greeted in their own language in Ireland, Britain, France. They probably would have laughed -- once -- before bringing down the axe.
A barbed broadhead in the gut, however... that WOULD slow somebody down. Quite discouraging.
Since some country paid ransom for a ship and its crew the other week, the pirates no doubt have had their opinion reinforced. Terrorism works.

Piracy is a military like action...
I think we should find out where they hide out... and then loose the predator drones on them...
Or we could simply do it the old way... with a fleet of P-47's or Corsairs and napalm.....

The Obama ideology looks very Somali, now that we have seen more of it.

Pilage others. Take what you can. Hope they don't defend themselves.

Where is he from? Somalia, or Kenya, or Indonesia? Oh, that's right, it was Ivy League and Chicago: Gangs indistinguishable from Somali pirates, feasting on the productive.

We need a Jefferson, to tell us it is ok to eradicate Pirates again. Because we seem unable to deal with violent thuggery unless we are told it is ok and wrapped in a flag.

"The way to combat piracy, as all of us learned back in the early part of the 17th century, is to kill all the pirates. Simple isn't it?"

While killing the pirates, film it, and sell tickets. If you kill enough of them, their progeny, should there be any left, will be unaware of what their mothers and fathers did.
