More asset forfeiture, looks like. Couldn't sell even one of the inventory guns as a private citizen to another citizen without going to prison, if I read it right. What are they supposed to do, eat them?

Makes me think of the local police equipment dealer here who was caught selling guns to "prohibited persons." At that time, it was Richmond, Va. city residents (who happened to be black) who would be required under the law to have a license to buy one inside the city from the sole remaining gun shop, which was more like a junk/repair shop. They would have gotten them anyway, was his philosophy, and he was right.
Before they could arrest and try him, he "ate HIS gun." Called 911 to report a suicide.
"It will be me."
