Imagine: a direct national vote on whether to do away with one's own and others' rights.
The Swiss a thousand years of neutraliaty and independence, and have chosen wisely.
I think the Fear Factor is high enough here for many that they will RUN to have their chains custom-fitted, only to find that one size fits all.

The FRENCH cantons voted FOR it. If the Swiss want to keep their gun rights and their culture intact, they should take the vote away from the French, first.
