Looks like Holder and Melson are circling the wagons so they can brief everybody and get their stories together. Both these guys have been in the system for a while and should know that when an experienced investigator gets the same story from everyone he interrogates, he knows he’s hearing a fabrication. Of course they may be so arrogant that they believe they’re the only people who would recognize a set piece story.
I hope Senator Grassley has noticed the disrespect Holder and Melson are demonstrating toward him. He has directed personal correspondence to both men and as far as I can see neither has replied directly, choosing instead to use a flunky, Ronald Weich, to indirectly address his concerns, as well as to make uncalled for insinuations and veiled threats.
