Some ‘illegal’ U.S. guns being used to defend Mexican lives

Mexico is a perfect real-world laboratory for looking at what happens when the gungrabbers get their wish list fulfilled, and anti-gun policies are enacted at a societal level—the old adage that when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns (aside from the military and police, that is, the “Only Ones”)—proves out. David, what, pray tell, makes you think that the military and cops AREN'T outlaws? They acted as such in the Great New Orleans Gun Grab.

I'm glad to see you mention this aspect of the US/MX border and the fact that most people in Mexico don't have legal RKBA recourse to thuggery.

Edward Abbey once wrote along these lines - that every border crosser from Mexico should be stopped, given a rifle and a couple cases of ammunition, and sent home. That they'd know what to do with them and that they'd know who their friends were.

Of course - back when he wrote this the great majority of border crossers were campesinos - not coyotes, enforcers, and smugglers.
