We're the Only Ones Who Don't Know Who You Are Enough

Ain't no jackbooted thug like a Philly jackbooted thug. [Listen]

We've been down this path before.

Exercise your rights and you're "looking for f...ing problems. Shut the f... up!"

And how dare you record an encounter with your masters, "tough guy"?

Sgt. Daugherty[sp?]--you are a raging, ignorant brownshirt thug, and a disgrace to everything the Republic is supposed to stand for. As are the other gang members who joined in with you to deprive a citizen of his rights while treating him as an inferior to be shouted at like...I was going to say a dog, but I don't know anyone who speaks to theirs in such barbaric, ugly tones.

Holy crap! There goes a man who clanks when he walks - facing an enraged cop who was acting outside legal authority (and thus the cop was committing a felony under 18 USC 241 along with his cohorts), and attempting to use facts and reason while staring down the cop's gun barrel.

I think his are bigger than mine :)
In any case, I'm trying to get in touch with the person from the audio through the guy who posted it. I think we have some things to talk about (mainly, what advice I used/am using to deal with my encounter with the Philly PD)
Need more like him.

Looks like a good time for a leisurely "sidewalk Easter parade" by openly carrying Pennsylvania LTCF holders in front of Philadelphia PD buildings. Get TV news coverage or say that you are a tourist and your Aunt Nellie is recording your visit to municipal buildings. Have two or three Aunt Nellie's recording the fun and activities just in case. Include members of the local Bar Association in the parade if at all possible. They make great witnesses in court. They typically are better educated than the police officers. They may know the right things to say so that all will understand them better. The judge may identify more with the lawyers.

The jury? They may like your Easter clothes selection. They also may understand you not wanting to get on the ground and get your Easter clothes dirty.

And they wonder why they are called pigs!

I thank God every time he sends one of these to rot where they belong.

By the way, you can contact Governor Corbett here:
http://www.governor.state.pa.us/portal/server.pt/community/contact/2998/e-mail_the_governor%27s_office/465341
You might want to ask him politely if he is aware of this incident, if this is an acceptable way for Law Enforcement to conduct themselves in his state, and, if not, what the state intends to do about it.
