I note that the only people "legally" carrying guns showed up just in time to cart off the wounded and write reports. Bloomberg is probably hopeful that none of the shooters were injured by defensive gunfire.

Bloomberg was the enabler. He disarmed private citizens and thereby empowered the thugs. Any thug with a gun in NYC is many, many times more powerful than he would be in a city where the law-abiding can carry. That encourages the thugs, badly, and for one sixteen-year-old girl in NYC, fatally. When is Bloomberg's trial?
