A Burning Issue

The only way to prevent this sort of thing from happening again is to track the weapon back to the gun manufacturer, then burn its factory to the ground. [More]

You know, the only way to prevent that sort of thing from happening may be to shoot arsonists.

I wonder if he has a permit to use that pen.

If I must respect his 1A right, then he should probably be required to respect my 2A right.

But that would make sense.

My comments to the fool:

Take a look at the record. Automobiles driven by irresponsible people kill and injure more innocents each year than do firearms and knives and yet nobody has ever suggested that GM or Ford be burned to the ground. The vehicle is hardly ever blamed for the mangled bodies. The occasional airliner crash usually kills upwards of 100 people per incident, nobody has suggested that transportation of people by air be curtailed. Strict DWI laws and all the thousands of traffic regulations have yet to prevent automobile homicides (note: I didn't say "murders"). And, pilot error and structural failures will continue to cause innocents' deaths. But then, I'm a "Gun Nut" and I guess I just don't understand.
