Probably would be a whole lot faster and easier to list the few people in government who were NOT involved with this thing. ... a very short list.
But it is okay if we do it?
Why would we want to "do it"? Heck, if I got my hands on some presumably nice military-style rifles, the very last thing on my mind would be to give or sell them to a stranger from Mexico.

As someone once said, "No matter how cynical I get, I can't keep up."
I'm all in favor of the U.S. government giving military rifles away. Just not to foreign nationals. If they are so eager to give these 'liberty teeth' away they should come attached to your tax return.
