Hey, give officer Mehserle a break. He meant well, when she murdered Oscar Grant.

And his partner meant well when he didn't tell Mehserle to go sit in the cruiser and think about the statement he needed to write.

All the other officers meant well when they saw Mehserle shoot Oscar Grant in the back and didn't do anything about it.

Officer Mehserle meant well when he quit the Police Department so he wouldn't have to write a statement. He also meant well when he left the State while the investigation was ongoing.

They're all just a bunch of "really good guys, trying to do a tough job...".

Jeez, it's not like they are a gang of thugs with complete State sanction.

His penalty was 2 yrs? Released in 1? Somehow I think I'd be getting the needle.

grateful as I am for the video evidence, and for Mr. Codrea for
posting it, I personally cannot
watch it. I hope I find a text discussion of what this proves
online eventually.
