Just You and Me?

Yes, I want to take away your gun. [More]
Well, Cincinnati is only a few hours away. I suppose we could arrange for you to try.

Or do you mean you want somebody else with a gun to take away my gun?

Well, do ya, punk?

Since the writer of this anti-gun puff piece wrote so many factual errors in his essay, I seriously doubt that his former boss was ever arrested and had his gun taken away.

He could have linked to an article about this alleged assault, but he did not.

Frankly, I don't believe him. And that premise amounted to his sole grounds for wanting to sic armed agents on the citizenry to take away their guns.

Sorry, Charlie - the whole thing stinks.

It is interesting that the author appears to offer a judgement on the viability of a business based on whether the business owner carried a weapon. If I were the business owner I would sue for the money paid for consultant's report. These reports are opinions, but should be based on fact, not emotion. Just as you would not trust the judgement of someone with a fear of flight on an airplane for any aviation related business, the author's hoplophobia appears to dominate reason. Fair warning to all those who would pay for the author's analysis.
One wonders what other so unidentified phobias lurk in the author's psyche.

"I don’t think my grandfather owned a gun, but he did own a rifle."
Say what?
If this guys consulting business is dependent on written reports I doubt he has any repeat business.
Agree with Ned that this has to be a bogus story. And I thought my one night cram term papers were full of BS!

Well, It is quite obvious where he pulled his keyboard from, His ass. Some things are better kept concealed.

I always find it amusing that these liberal fools have no facts to back themselves up with just their fuzzy, little "feelings". He doesn't believe that people should have guns.

O.K., fair enough, just how does he expect to get them? Make a law? Most people will not honor a blatantly unconstitutional "law", so someone will have to come get them. Then he will truly have the violence that he objects to. Just who does he propose come knocking on my door to TAKE my guns? It's fine with him to send some poor bastard to my front door, yours and millions of others to unlawfully take our personal property. Some will comply, many will not. Citizens will die, police will die. For what? For his feelings? These people really sicken me, for they are the very ones who want someone ELSE to do it for them. Want my gun? Get off your ass, move your chair from the keyboard and come on over to my house. Better make sure that life insurance policy is paid up and your "life's partner" know where to find it.

I read Gross' piece and it's about as limp-wristed as I've seen in a long time.

Of course when Gross says he "wants to take your guns", he means he wants paid surrogates to do the deed, while he remains behind to write about it.

What he doesn't seem to realize is that when we dispatch his surrogates, which we will do, we'll then come looking for those who sent them to our location and we'll dispatch them as well.

Words which cause actions have consequences. Gross should be more circumspect, or shut up altogether.

This dude thinks there's no real reason anyone in downtown Cincinnati should need the RKBA. And the business owners pay him to advise them?
