When confronted with the truth, the honest person either accepts the truth or ceases to be an honest person.
I hereby declare that pigs do not wear lipstick. Everybody agrees that this is logical? Yes?
Therefore, if you put lipstick on a pig, then that animal is no longer a pig, because pigs do not wear lipstick.
That sounds as grounded as relying on the WaPO to determine your reality.
