Bob Barr Continues to Erode Whatever Credibility He Has Left

I can't tell if it's because he's truly ignorant or because he has an agenda. [Read]

My comment over there:

The fundamental issue, Mr. Barr, is that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms has no Constitutional authorization to exist. All else after that fact is considered is really asking misdirected questions aimed at obfuscation of an unConstitutional US government agency.

This agency, way back when it was a tax collector on alcoholic drink, and that's a questionable area under the Constitution, it had at least the stamp of legitimacy.

When it was broadened to pursue firearms purchases and licensure; it became an outlaw agency and has acted as that since that time, 1934.

That's what happens when a corrupt US Supreme Court acts to self realize government power and then grant that power to an agency.

The US government is forbidden, absolutely and expressly, from any control or power over firearms made in America or imported into America.

The tactical picture here is that criminal acts occurred and need to be prosecuted.

The strategic picture is much more significant, that is that the ATF must be abolished along with every law affecting firearms enacted to the US government and state government. That is the only lawful outcome available.
