Question: How many of those purchasers are lifting a finger to help make sure things stay that way?

The fact that some of those people are first time buyers IS helping the cause. Also, think of the hudreds of thousands of people who were in the fence in 1993 and 1994 who didn't have a dog in that fight, so to speak, who bought guns in a hurry when they thought they might not be able to very soon. That very thing has changed the whole paradigm, and changed the argument.

If very new gun buyer would join one of the major gun organizations we could win this fight a lot faster. Of course I think everyone that owns a gun should be a NRA member. With a estimated 80 million gun owners, what would the Bradyites do?

It would be great if the NSSF and/or the NRA could get with the manufacturers to include a flyer about the 2A and how to protect it with every new firearm.
