The Deadly Weapon Loophole

The Colorado Supreme Court has ruled that guns stolen during a burglary are not classified as deadly weapons. [More]

That reminds me of how criminals are also exempt from registering guns.

It's OK--they don't abide by any of this foolishness anyway.

That's right. Guns are only "deadly weapons" when law abiding citizens who don't and won't use them criminally are targeted by anti-rights vermin.

"The court on Monday said the legislature has not classified firearms stolen in burglaries as deadly weapons, regardless of the manner intended to use them."

The legislature hasn't classified firearms decorated with flowers as deadly weapons either, but they're still deadly. When a judge defies common sense to help a criminal there's likely a commie lib mind at work.
