UN Arms Trade Treaty: It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘consensus’ is

How unsurprising that the Clintonian "It depends upon what the meaning of the word 'is' is” deception has now been reanimated to apply to the word “consensus.” And how revealing of the character of those behind the move. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes that words have meaning. And those who would redefine them have agendas.

Far more important... depends on who agrees with whom on what.

I don't really care how much of a "consensus" the gun prohibitionists have. I do not consent.

I would merely note, MamaLiberty, that your fine friends in "Law Enforcement" do not give a crap whether or not you consent. Nor do they even care whether or not the treaty is approved by the Senate, as required under the Constitution to which they swore their oath of office. They will merely grovel before their Masters and then do what they are told.

Don't believe me when I say they don't care whether the treaty is approved or not? Look up "Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement" (ACTA) and see how it was "ratified" in this country. Then see what "Law Enforcement" officers are refusing to enforce its provisions.

The stench is overwhelming.
