Will NRA director election be another opportunity squandered?

If that’s truly the case, it would appear to trump all other considerations. Will you therefore publicly insist that any politician, especially so-called 'pro-gun Democrats,' who put party over principle and endorse Obama’s reelection, or vote to confirm any anti-gun nominee to the Supreme Court, be given an automatic 'F'? Just my two cents...Several years ago I stopped voting for any director that was from the industry. Owners, CEOs or representatives of TV, manufacturers, etc. I personally can't see electing such folks to represent and protect MY civil rights, MY god given rights. Its the whole dual loyalty thing. Are they more interested in furthering their own career, their own financial interests, or the Constitution. So I read their bio's. Then I vote for real activists. Folks who seem to have demonstrated their commitment without compensation.

Like I said just my two centavos...

Don't know that any can be trusted, industry, leo's or ex leo's, or politicians of any stripe. They all seem to think that the creator only endowed the elite, .gov, leo's, and their friends with the right to defend themselves. Ronnie Barrett might be an exception, anyone know otherwise? Or anyone running that actually is worthy of a vote?

Absolutely right on Ronnie Barret -

The only director candidate on the slate that I trust, that understands freedom and walks the talk.

When kalifornia banned 50 cals he refused to sell anything from rifles to parts to kalifornia state agencies and employees. He said he would not do any business with any state agency while the citizens were prohibited.

Ronnie Barret is not running to promote his business. I wish he or someone of his character would replace LaPierre.

300 million plus people and good ones are sure hard to come by. Likewise, 4 million members and
we seem to be descending to supporting social climbers, gladhanders and fund raisers.

David - Is there any other director candidate worthy of a vote?
