Pretty nice gig otherwise, though, getting a retirement package at his age. Public "service" sure dispenses benefits most private wealth-generating enterprises would be hard-put to offer. Sounds to me like there's more going on here. Between bureaucrats and public employee unions, I don't see a dog in this fight I really want to win.

But what can you expect from people who wet their panties at the sight of a G.I. Joe gun? I don't normally root for unionistas but in this case the union might just fill a useful purpose.
