We're the Only Ones All Washed Up Enough

Rankin police officer breaks into neighbor’s house to do laundry [More]

Rocco's modern life.

And judging by his victims' utility bill, he took them to the cleaners. It looks like trespass and criminal mischief in this case would be misdemeanors under PA law.

So, career-wise, are the going to hang him out to dry?

In Texas Criminal mischief and criminal trespass are both class B misdemeanors (middle of 3 classes with A being most severe) and conviction costs a Peace Officer his/her license for 10 years. A class A or any degree felony costs the license permanently.

Technically what he did was burglary (a felony) and theft of service. I figure they'll let him plead down to disorderly conduct. Wouldn't want to cost him his job permanently.

"Police said Rocco also asked the investigators for his clothes back."

That has to be one of the funniest lines ever. Some people have balls of brass.

That boy needs a real man to take him out to the woodshed and teach him a thing or three about integrity. May be too late, but might be worth trying.

Oh, and show him where the laundromat in town is located.

Personally, I wouldn't hire him to sweep floors - unless he showed a lot more promise after recovering from the woodshed education.
