We're the Only Ones Civilly Disobedient Enough

NY Supreme Court Justice Gustin Reichbach Admits to Smoking Illegal Marijuana for Cancer [More
So as long as you have a reason you think is good, the law should be disregarded, Judge? I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you--I'm just wondering how you would rule if I had what I thought were good reasons for exercising an uninfringed right to keep and bear arms in New York...?

From the looks of things, particularly the bit about "drawing the distinction between preventing people who need something from getting it, and preventing people who just want to blaze recreationally from doing their thing," it appears you're the arbiter of acceptable rationales.

That is unacceptable.

Someone on the source page said many of his cases will need to be reviewed. How'bout they vacate whatever MJ cases he was in on and let the people out of jail?

Then, to be fair to all, vacate the other MJ. Cases and set them free. Think of the money NY state will save not keeping those folks locked up.

As long as those guys are freed, go on and legalize the stuff for everyone. NY will lead the nation! They can turn back into Little Amsterdam and tax the stoners who come in to enjoy a bit of herb.

Hey, they keep saying they need money. They'll save on LE expense not arresting potheads and locking them up and be able to work on real crimes, and collect taxes on the stuff they sell.
