Well, David, we knew that the contempt vote was an empty gesture. And we all know that Congress will never call us, the militia, in to take care of this travesty. They should, but they won't.

Congress should play the same type games as the DOJ.
If they refuse to prosecute, Defund them.

Article 2, Section 3, defining the duties of the President, states "...he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed..."

We have seen that Mr. Obama will selectively pick and choose the Laws that he will faithfully execute and ignore the ones he does not agree with, in violation of his oath of office. The separation of powers call for legislative change to be voted upon by Congress. If Congress decides not to pass legislation, it is not the President's option to rule by fiat instead of rule by law. Congress needs to defund any governmental agency that does not follow the law AND impeach those in the executive branch who will not follow the law in addition to calling out the militia to faithfully execute the laws. The definition of the militia as all able-bodied adults should be followed, not the National Guard.

Thanks, Ed. We should make ours reps aware of this and see that they hold the Prex resposible to do so. Okay, the NEXT presdent. Obviously, Obama won't obey this law or any other that he doesn't like.

Bobby, are you listening?

"Weepy" is in charge. Surely you know how likely it is that he will be "calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union"

Loved Chris Muir's Day By Day strip for 6/26. Muir had Holder using the (clearly dubious) legal doctrine of "faecies evenio" to explain the deaths of hundreds of Mexican nationals. Muir has Holder saying FAECIES EVENIO is contempt, Mr. Issa?!?. To which Issa replies "'S--T Happens' doesn't cut it legally, sir."

At the end, Holder plaintively asks "Even in Latin?"

How soon we forget about that other dem. POTUS,and his AG Reno, and that it was never brought before a full vote.

Looong train of abuses and all that!

Well, BadCyborg, that actually is probably close enough for "Weepy". Or do you REALLY think the House will send their Sergeant at Arms to arrest him?
