This brings an interesting question. What other rights can we suspend due to age?
Speech? Voting? protection against unreasonable search and seizure?

They seem to forget that the law requiring someone to be 21 to purchase a handgun was written when the voting age was 21. As soon as the voting age was dropped to 18 the law should have been changed. I, myself enlisted at 17 (my Dad signed the waiver)and started carrying a gun after I was attacked at 19. It wasn't legal but I didn't really care.
