Save Money. Live...uh...Well, Save Money

Interesting. The comments thus far do not seem to support the editorial position. Sorta makes one wonder how circulation numbers are going for The Daily Advance. Of course, one also wonders if they may have misspelled "Daley"...

But then when I compare their statement under "Theissue" and "Our position" at the upper left to the diatribe in the column, I merely ask WTF???

Does posting a store have the force of law in NC? Or is it like many states where they can only ask you to leave if "caught"?

"...a permit does not authorize a person to carry a concealed handgun...On any private premises where notice that carrying a concealed handgun is prohibited by the posting of a conspicuous notice or statement by the person in legal possession or control of the premises"

I would interprit the above language to mean that (as in AZ) you can be asked to leave or to check the firearm, not prosecuted unless you refuse to leave.
