Bottom line: If those doing their utmost to squelch the investigation and redirect the effort to more citizen disarmament had really done their jobs after being repeatedly requested, the audit environment would not have allowed an Operation Fast and Furious to happen.

Feinstein isn't going to do anything about this. She was rooting for it. She's desperate for any excuse to gin up more support for gun control. She's one of the lead Dansers Macabre following the Aurora shooting.
I cannot comprehend how an otherwise sane and rational person can see ATF systemic corruption (read Katie Pavlich's piece!) and still refer to ATF as a "great bureau".
