Those Who Would Give Up Essential Liberty to Purchase Bucs Tickets

"It wasn't that obtrusive, and I feel it was necessary if that what's they decide to do," said Bucs fan Jim Campbell. [More]
OK, Jim. Enjoy your bread and circuses.  Have an $8 beer.

And when the tyrannical overreach, excuse me, I mean what "people are comfortable with" spreads to everyday life--and that's already happening--there will be no shortage of herd animals bleating their approval.

Which pleases those doing the herding no end.

I was just talking to a buddy of mine about this the other day. He's a Seahawks season ticket holder and said he will still attend the games, even though he will no longer be allowed to carry (he generally carries, regardless of the "rules" at the stadium).

I told him that if seriously pro-gun people like him are willing to forfeit their rights just to watch some jocks in tight pants run around a field, there is no hope for us in the long run.
