Arab Spring

I don't know who couldn't see the Libyan or Egyptian blow-ups coming. Every time "we" engineer the removal of a strongman, the gates of hell open up.

Tell me State doesn't know that.  And count on it.

And the reaction from our "leaders"?

Apologize for hurting their feelings.

I understand the producer of the "film" cited as the catalyst for this latest eruption of ignorance is in hiding--from seeing the trailer (trust me, don't waste your time), I'd be in hiding too, just out of shame for producing such an amateurish piece of crap (although I wonder if he's got room in his refuge for everyone dumb enough to let him put their names and faces out there).

The question our "Authorized Journalists" need to ask--and most won't:  What effect have weapons and other material support provided by the U.S. and its allies--first to the regimes and then to the opposition--had in all this?

So much for buying friends. "It's about growth and business" my...eye.

How many more young American lives are going to be thrown into this new outbreak and pay with blood for the ambitious manipulations of the spiders at the center of the web?

And you'd better believe Putin and Hu Jintao won't be compelled to feel less adventurous by this forced demonstration of international impotence.

It seems the only ones cowed and subdued by domestic Leviathan are We the People, the heirs of Liberty...and some are increasingly questioning if they really should be, especially when they note Elvis has left the building.

Scroll down and look at what some Cairo thugs are wearing.

Seems rather coordinated with actions in this country to me.
